You’ve completed Brainspotting training.
You love the tool, and you want to serve your clients well with it.
Using it with your own clients is where it leaves all of us with more questions than answers.
What do you do when a client can’t tolerate what comes up?
One case doesn’t go how you hoped.
The manuals slide onto a shelf, somewhere behind the books you actually reach for.
You still own the pointer and the goggles, and you try them once in a while, on the sessions that feel easy enough.
Being satisfied with that would sell your training short.

Consultation is where we explore your hardest clinical cases, the ones that sent the manual to the shelf in the first place.
Most of my own Brainspotting work lives with developmental and complex trauma, and those are the clients I’m most passionate about.
Helping them access Brainspotting in meaningful, tolerable ways takes high attunement and creativity.
Together, we’ll work out what that looks like for the next client on your schedule.

I’ve been in this field for 25 years.
My first intensive training was DBT, back when I was licensed in 2004.
These days I also teach master’s-level counseling students, so thinking out loud about clinical choices is part of my week.
The skills you trust, whatever trainings they came from, get a real say in how you set up and pace the work.
You can also pursue Brainspotting certification through our work together.
I earned my own certification in 2020 and have been an approved Brainspotting Consultant since 2021.
Your own cases become the material, so the learning stays tied to the clients you actually see.
Certified or not, we’re aiming for Brainspotting that fits your own authenticity and knowledge base, and for confidence that your work makes a difference.

Brainspotting is powerful, and it has more to give your professional work than an occasional try.

We’ll use it to decide together whether our work is a match.
Then get that manual back off the shelf.
Who can I trust? I’ll help you learn to trust.
